Phoenix Egg / 100% Substance

Started this out as just inspiration from a ceramic vase and it turned into a whole project. Like my Dragon Egg this is almost 100% substance
The phoenix geometry planes are tessellated. The egg is a simple egg shape and the stand is basic conical shape all the shaping is happening due to height displacement. I rendered it in Marmoset Toolbag.

The comp is done in Photoshop meaning the background and marble table is not rendered but comped in.
